My client: Raffles American School an international primary and secondary school in Iskandar Malaysia.

Objective: Raffles American School was hosting Family Fun Day. An annual community event for families and students where they could participate and purchase various activities, crafts and food.

Problem: My client wanted customised tickets that families can use during the event.
In my mind it was a more forward thinking and fun solution to create currency.

Solution: Create a cohesive system of "tickets" to resemble currency, based off of distinct and memorable landmarks across the campus of Raffles American School. I want to create a depiction of various iconic landmarks keeping the contemporary essence of each space in mind.

One - planetarium
Five - greenhouse
Ten - the front of the school

Theme: Set among lush rolling hills in the fast-growing city of Iskandar, Malaysia, Raffles American School campus accommodates pre-kindergarten through 12th grade students. The 19-hectare school is envisioned as a holistic learning environment that is seamlessly interwoven into its beautiful setting. Given the slope of the site, The campus consists of three main “terraces,” with each terrace occupied by a cluster of grade levels.
Our facilities include technology-integrated classrooms, science labs, visual art, dance and performing arts studios, as well as a performing arts center including a 800 seater auditorium and a black box theater. Our library caters toward students of various reading levels and abilities.
RAS is also the only K-12 school in Southeast Asia to feature its own planetarium, which provides students unique learning opportunities to support our progressive education models and philosophy.
RAS is also home to both a junior and senior boarding program, providing pastoral care in five boarding facilities.
The campus also features a host of athletic amenities including: Two separate indoor air-conditioned gymnasiums, an Olympic size swimming pool, a shallow training pool, outdoor tennis and basketball courts, soccer field, and stadium which includes a second full size soccer field, track and field, and 400 meter running track.

I designed a one, five and ten note that was then bound and sold to each of the families that purchased or "exchanged" currency at the event.

One representing the planetarium on campus, five is a creative representation of the green house and ten representing the scene people are greeted with when they arrive on campus.
