Project Strategy
Before starting, I first created a project strategy in which I identified existing problems, determined the project's mission, and began working towards a solution.

What sets Raffles American School apart are the four General Learning Outcomes (GLOs): problem-solving/thinking skills, communication skills, character/interpersonal skills, and organization/research skills. My client wanted to better enforce the GLO’s within the student body by displaying posters themed around each standard around the campus. 

Mission: Create a system of posters displaying and explaining each GLO in an easily comprehensible way for elementary and high school students alike.

Solution: Use students of each grade range within the set of posters to make each GLO more relatable. Four GLO’s means that I will need to make four posters around each standard with the use of the company brand.

Questions and Problems
Since my target demographic is the student body of RAS what do each of the GLO’s mean to the students?

How to keep the contemporary branding of the school while making these posters playful?

How do I simplify the GLO’s meaning?

After collaboration with the marketing director Kasey Strick and the In-house photographer Keryn Lee Yue It was decided that each poster will feature more than one student and be multi-racial and multi-gendered to accurately depict the entire student body. Each poster is followed by my initial sketch. 

All posters were printed on A0 high gloss paper.
