Location: Iskandar Malaysia
Project Completion: February 2019
Target Audience: Education

My client: My client was a kindergarten through twelfth-grade American international school located in Iskandar Malaysia.

Objective: Create informational brochures that accurately depict the company brand and sets us apart from the competition.

Problems: Both deliverables must complement each other without looking like replicas. Each brochure must be two halves of a whole, as is each program, which makes up Raffles American School. It must be contemporary and informative.

Solution: Design a multi-image grid as the basis of each cover then create a standard grid to be used in the inner pages. Keep in mind the company brand system.

Theme: Set among lush rolling hills in the fast-growing city of Iskandar, Malaysia, Raffles American School campus accommodates pre-kindergarten through twelfth-grade students. The 19-hectare school is envisioned as a holistic learning environment that is seamlessly interwoven into its beautiful setting. Given the slope of the site, The campus consists of three main “terraces,” with each terrace occupied by a cluster of grade levels.

After creating a series of grids my client and agreed and improved upon one which became the basis for each brochure. My client then gave me a vision for the cover and through collaboration created both covers. I then went on to make the inner pages.
